Would it be better to buy a nikon D200, or D2x or just buy a new d90?
Would it be better to buy a nikon D200, or D2x or just buy a new d90?
You run the risk that a D200 or D2x has been used professionally and has a high shutter count.
Like buying a 6 year old BMW, it looks great, feels great but when things do start to wear out the cost stacks up.
I would suggest the D7000 as a very capable mid range model with very decent AF, very decent motordrive and excellent sensor.
You get a new cam with guarantee that you know hasn't been dropped in puddles and got 150'000 clicks on it's shutter…
How about the D7000? Or is that pushing out of the budget?
If you compare the D90 to the D2x and the D90 to the D200 on www.snapsort.com you'll find that the D90 comes out on top by quite a few features.
It depend what are your need.
The D200/D2x are pretty ancient by today's standards.
That would depend on what you shoot now and what that is not doing for you
