Is a 1936X1296 a printable 4X6 image?
On my Nikon D200 camera I have choices of image sizes small is 1936X1296/2.5M, a medium is 2896X1944/5.6M, and a large is 3872X2592/10.0M. What size the right size to put in the camera to print 4X6 pictures?

My husband just got a Nikon D3S camera. I wanted to get him a new lens for it, but I have no clue what anything means when purchasing a lens.
He does nature photography, plays around with HDR, and likes to do close-up photos.
What kinds of lenses do you recommend? (I know he wants to keep in the sae Nikon family, so I'd prefer Nikkor lenses.)
I appreciate your input!
Added (1). (It will be a surprise gift for him.)

What is better a Nikon d2h or canon eos-1d?
Not the eos-1dx

A nikon d300 and I'm learning to use it but this has been happening for a while like it will work one day and the next it won't. Like I'll click the shutter button and it will auto focus but won't actually take the picture. I know its not that I'm not pushing the button it must be a setting that I'm not familiar with and accidentally set. Does anyone know how to fix this, what its called, or where in the manual I can read about it? Also another side problem is that sometimes the actual shutter takes a LONG time for a camera (sometimes about 10 seconds) and the picture always comes out blurry because I can't keep it perfectly still for that long. So I'm wondering how to fix it so the shutter only takes a fraction of a second. Thank you So much in advance. Also its not something with the mechanisms of the camera, it has something to do with a setting because this happened to my Nikon N6006 (the film one) like how it wouldn't take the picture when i clicked the button. I must have switched a setting by accident.

Can I use the Nikkor 35mm f1.8 lens on a D700?
Currently, I have a DX camera (Nikon D70s). I have the Nikkor 35mm f1.8 DX lens and I want to purchase the D700 in the near future. I heard that the D700 will switch to a 5mp when using DX lenses. Is this true? Also, what will happen if I use the 35mm lens in FX mode on the D700?

Shutter problems with Nikon D300?
So my parents used to be very into photography so they invested into a few Nikons. They recently gave me a nikon d300 and I'm learning to use it but this has been happening for a while like it will work one day and the next it won't. I've saved £3000 over some time now and I have decided to upgrade my camera. I have looked at the nikon d3 and I already have lenses that fit onto my d100. Will my d100 lenses fit onto a d3? Anyway, is this a good move and could I get the d3 and a macro lens under £3000?

Pro DSLR user, leave comments here! (about lens and body)?
Well I got the Nikon d7000 body with mbd11 grip, 50 f/1.8, and 55-200 vr zoom
I had some scenario here:
1. Buy Nikon 70-200 f/2.8 VR 1, sell the 55-200 vr
2. Buy the Nikon 24-70 f/2.8
3. Wait for the D800, sell d7000+grip, and also sell the 55-200vr, use only 50 1.8 for a while
which one you recommend and why?
I run no photography business, just taking photos for hobby
