What kind of adapter do I need to connect the lens to a Nikon D3100?
I have 2 old lens that I would like to use on my Nikon D3100. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how to tell what type of lens adapter I need. The links below are photos of the lens:

2-Canon G11
3-sony as290L
4-nikon d3100.

or do you have any suggestion for any other camera?
i'm also in love with the sony t99 compact camera.

Which of these lens will focus on Nikon D5000?
I've lost my manual for my Nikon D5000 and I don't exactly know what everything means when it comes to these lens 'cause there's so many different versions of them!
So I'd like to know which of the following lenses are compatible with the Nikon D5000.
- Nikon 50mm 1.4 Ai
- Nikon 50mm f1.4 Non-Ai
- Nikon 50mm 1.4 Nikkor Ai-S
- Nikon 50mm 1.4D
- Nikon 50mm 1.4G
Can they all at least manual focus on the Nikon D5000?
Apologies for my lack of knowledge. I don't want to end up buying the wrong lens.

Horseback Camera Recommendations?
I currently own a Nikon D90 and love it. However I work as a horse wrangler on a dude ranch and am looking for an all-purpose camera that I can tuck in my pocket or throw into a saddle bag without worrying about damaging the lens and can use easily with one hand while on horseback. We ride in all conditions, rain, snow or sun, so durability is another factor. I'm looking for something with no less than 12 megapixels, and 5+ zoom. I don't want to be spending too much on this since most small cameras don't last very long out here and the chances of me having to replace it sometime or another is pretty high. My ideal price would be low $100's, but am not really looking to go higher than $150.
I found a Fujifilm FinePix XP10 which seems to meet my criteria, is waterproof, freeze proof and shockproof, 12megs, 5x, but I have never used a Fujifilm. Do you think this is a decent camera for what I'm looking for? What other recommendations would you have?

Suggestions for a good DSLR case/carrier?
I recently got a DSLR camera (a Nikon D5000) as a gift. While I really like the camera, I don't like carrying it around with the neckstrap, which is uncomfortable and too conspicuous for my taste. I was wondering if there were any good holsters or cases or something with which I could carry around my camera.
I'd like…
-To be able to pull the camera out and stow it back in quickly, so it doesn't take me a solid minute to pull the camera out, take a picture, then put it back in.
-The case to be reasonably lightweight
-It to not display the camera so prominently
-The case to protect the camera reasonably well.
-A case that is not too big.
All of the above items are preferences and not really requirements, except for the first one, which is pretty important to me.

Sneaking a DSLR into the US Airways Center (Lady Gaga)?
I have a lot of plans, lines, and backup since I'm planning to smuggle my DSLR Nikon D90 into the Phoenix AZ US Airways Center Arena for a lady gaga concert, can anyone give a low-down on how the security is at the venue, if they're lax, or super tight when it comes to photography? Last time I went to the Gaga concert in July I managed to get some really good pictures, mainly because I was on the floor, and the tall gentleman in front of me was blocking the guard's view of my camera.
Since I saw the show front row the first time, this time around I got cheap nosebleed tickets. From my experience, there wasn't a lot of security in the nosebleeds when I saw Bon Jovi at the Jobing.com Arena (Glendale AZ), and no one really cared what went on up there. Note that we're talking about two different arenas.
Can anyone give me a rundown of how things work at the US Airways center, since this time around I plan on sneaking in a DSLR?
Please don't give me the typical answer of "just bring a P&S," or "just enjoy the concert".

So, I just bought a used Nikon D90 from someone on ebay and I was testing out the camera and noticed that when I zoom in on images there are always the same 3 blue dots in ever picture. I did some research and found that it is either dust or dead pixels. I was told to try using different lenses and seeing if the dots were still there. I tried a few different lenses and the dots were still there. I read online that if you take a pitch black photo and the dots are still there than that means that they are dead pixels, not in the screen itself, but a problem with the light sensor. Is this correct? The dots are only seen when I zoom in on the photo so it's not the LCD screen. I used the image sensor cleaning feature and the image dust off feature and neither of those helped. I also read online that when this is a problem with a camera that most professional photographers get a new camera. I'm not a professional photographer but I did pay a lot of money for the camera and if it is such a problem that it would make someone want a new camera than I will want to get a refund for it. The dead pixels are even visible sometimes when I don't zoom in, depending on how they blend in with the picture. They are always the same color, blue.
So, my questions are:
1.) are these dead pixels or something else?
2.) can the problem be easily fixed?
3.) should I send the camera back and get a refund?
Anything else I should know? Thank you in advance.
p.s. The guy who sold it to me said that there weren't dead pixels before he sent it. It was sent with shipping insurance and it is still under Nikon warranty.

Camera settings on Nikon d3000?
I just bought a Nikon d3000 and whenever I try to set the photos to be taken in black and white, or sepia, I can't. I go to Picture Control and I can't go any further because it says "This option is not available with current setting." What settings do I need to have in order to take these photos?
Added (1). BTW, I don't feel like reading the manual so if someone can list step by step things that'd be great.

Does the EOS Rebel XS 18-55IS Kit from Canon shoot video?
I'm looking into buying an SLR camera. My price range is ~ $300 - $500, but I'm really willing to spend up to around $700 or so. I really like the Nikon D3100 (which shoots in full HD video), but it's a little pricey for me. I decided to try Canon and found the EOS Rebel XS 18-55IS Kit. I would really like a camera that also shoots video, but I'm not sure if this one does.
So does it?
