Give me your advice, opinions, and any other constructive criticism on my photos, please?

I know that the quality isn't topnotch. I don't have the best camera. I just want to know if I should invest in a better camera (Nikon D60), or if I should continue practicing my angles, ideas.etc on my Canon PowerShot A590. Any honest contribution will help tremendously.
Thank you.

Added (1). With all do respect, sir. I've looked through my photostream a hundred times and I do not see many similarities between the photos I have posted. Yes, they may be of the same object- such as a leaves and buildings, but I take a great amount of effort to make my photos look interesting. I take photos at different angles, with different lighting at different times of the day. I make my photos look unique. Tell me, how many times have you seen a landscape? I'm sure plenty. Now, how many times have you seen an ant- crawling from one lily petal to another? I'm sure that's a less common occurance. It makes me question whether or not you actually looked through my photos. Now, if you are just going to type advice without taking in account my art- then how am I supposed to learn from any of your suggestions? I may be a teenager, yes but that does not mean I'm just going through a "phase". My subjects aren't boring. They all tell a story, once you step back and look at the big picture.

Nikon/Canon auto focus lens

The camera i wanted from the start was the Nikon D3100, and i still really want it. But i found out that the 50mm f/1.8 won't autofocus on the camera. Is this a big deal? I guess i can learn to manually focus but this is my first dslr so i'm not sure. The 50mm f/1.4 is out of my budget; and i'm not really interested in the 35mm… Would it be a better choice to get the 55-200mm zoom lens? Ill probably take pictures of mostly people.

ALSO, since this is an issue, should i buy a canon camera instead?

Would a Nikon D60 be sufficient to take photos of golfers swinging?

Is there a setting on the camera to allow multiple shots of a golfer hitting a ball? If not, what digital would be best?

Is it a good idea to ask for a DSLR camera for Christmas?

I've never had one in my life, but I feel like I would love to learn how to use one. My dad thinks I shouldn't, and he says I already have a digital camera, so why would I want another one?

But my digital camera does not satisfy my needs, I need something better and more serious, but DSLR cameras are so pricey.

Can you suggest a DSLR camera for noob-amateur-beginners? I've already thought about a Nikon D40 or a Rebel XS but I'm not very good at choosing cameras, so a little help would be… Very helpful.
