Horseback Camera Recommendations?

I currently own a Nikon D90 and love it. However I work as a horse wrangler on a dude ranch and am looking for an all-purpose camera that I can tuck in my pocket or throw into a saddle bag without worrying about damaging the lens and can use easily with one hand while on horseback. We ride in all conditions, rain, snow or sun, so durability is another factor. I'm looking for something with no less than 12 megapixels, and 5+ zoom. I don't want to be spending too much on this since most small cameras don't last very long out here and the chances of me having to replace it sometime or another is pretty high. My ideal price would be low $100's, but am not really looking to go higher than $150.

I found a Fujifilm FinePix XP10 which seems to meet my criteria, is waterproof, freeze proof and shockproof, 12megs, 5x, but I have never used a Fujifilm. Do you think this is a decent camera for what I'm looking for? What other recommendations would you have?

I have a lumix panasonic DMC-TS1 and its GREAT! It wasn't too expensive and it takes amazing photos. Its waterproof up to ten feet and shock proof up to five. It has a zoom but not the optical zoom lens which is really nice, because those are really easy to break. Its 12 megapixels. The settings are easy to use and i definitely suggest them for use in different settings. Love this camera

Yes, Fuji cameras are great. Are they "professional quality?" Some of my editorial portfolio that got me my current job was done on a Fuji S1000, with the facade duct-taped back on!

Olympus makes a few indestructible cameras. But if you have the money I think the Canon D10 is one of the best waterproof cameras.
