How to shoot images of the aspect ratio of 16:1 on nikon dslr camera model d3100?
How can I shoot images in the aspect ratio of 16:1 on this Nikon DSLR model D3100 camera. Anyone can help? I do not find this option in the shooting mode on this camera.
What to get next for my Nikon D3100
I love taking pictures, but i'm in no way a photographer! I'm 15 and a swimmer and most of the time i just take pics at swim meets, and tons of my friends and stuff! I have 2 lenses, the one that came with the camera (18-55mm) and the 55-22mm i can't decide 2 things, 1, what is the next thing i should get, a lens, flash, etc., and 2, if i do get a lens which one should i get!

Nikon D7000 autofocus does not focus
The autofocus moves closer and further, but it does not stop and it keeps becoming blurry. If i use manual focus the picture comes out great. But i don't want to have to use manual focus.focus mode is set to af-f. It may focus on walls and floors sometimes but rarely.
Is it better to keep your lens cap on or off while your not using it?

Why don't you see nearly as many people using the Nikon D7000 for video over the Canon T2i?
What I've seen they seem to be similae but I haven't seen much but I know the 550d looks amazingly perfect I'm just leining toward the D7000 because I'm a Nikon fan and I like it mcuh better but is it really not as good as the Canons? This puts me in a dilemma
I just purchased a nikon d3100, whenever i playback the videos on my camera, they are stunning-however whenever i play them back on my computer they are slow and freeze on each frame. How can i solve this? I would like to be able to edit them into windows movie maker which is also a problem because it doesn't support mov files. So how can i edit my movies in windows movie maker and have them playback smoothly?
