How to shoot images of the aspect ratio of 16:1 on nikon dslr camera model d3100?
How can I shoot images in the aspect ratio of 16:1 on this Nikon DSLR model D3100 camera. Anyone can help? I do not find this option in the shooting mode on this camera.
You can't. 16:1 - that would mean a 16-inch wide photo would stand 1-inch tall?
You won't find that option on any camera, especially a dslr.
There's a video mode on real video cameras that is 16:9 image aspect ratio.
Look here for such cameras.

APS-C dSLR's have an aspect ratio of 3:2
If it's not in the menu, it's not there. Believe the camera. It knows.
16:1? I'm grinning from ear to ear.
