I know one is more expensive but in general which would be better?

Sb600 flash has a delay when i shoot on manual with my D90?
I like to shoot manual with my Nikon D90, but when i've got my sb600 flash connected, there's about a second delay maybe 2 seconds before it takes the picture with the flash, how do i change this? I remember when i first started using the flash, it never did this. It took the picture instantly, but then i messed with the controls and i must have changed the settings somewhere along the line. Can someone please help? I've tried reseting everything but i can't figure it out.

Nikon Film SLR that would work with AF lens?
I currently own a Nikon D90, a 50mm F1.4 AF G, standard 18-55 and a 70-300mm F4.0-5.6 AF G. Since I fell in love with wide lens I'm considering buying a Tamron SP 10-24mm Di II.
I would love an FX DSLR but the cheapest are too expensive for me, so a more sensible approach would be old SLRs.
Can anyone recommend a film SLR that would work with my lens and maybe help me get more out of them? Something easy to use would be nice.

Canon t3 vs nikon d3000?

Did I just break my Nikon D50?
I was messing with it because I was trying to get it to do a long exposure thing which I can't figure out how to do and the manual makes no sense.Um, but when I tried to take a picture after trying to do what the manual said, the camera started beeping really loudly and the little light in the front started flashing. Oh, and the D50 says that my SD card has 68 photos left to take in its memory, but before I started messing with the camera it said I had something like 138…
I should just not be allowed to handle technology haha

Why does my Nikon d5100 meter but refuse to shoot indoors?
Sometimes it will shoot indoors; sometimes not.
Added (1). I've read the entire manual plus a book from Amazon. The lighting would have been adequate for my old D60 (RIP) but not the d5100.

I heard that an tripod is really essential, but should i really need it.
I have a Nikon D3100 how should i put my settings, for an HDR.

What should i do with my camera?
First of all, i have a Nikon D3100 with 18-55mm VR lens, and an attaching wide macro lens.
The point is that i have an option of $1200 to buy a new camera or buying some essential lenses for the D3100. If i buy a much more imrpoved and better camera, by selling my D3100 with the already money i have, what could i get and should i do it?
Or if i shouldnt change my camera, what are the best lenses for a Nikon
I geuss a 50mm is great?
Added (1). Not a wide macro lens, just a filter* :D

Camera Lens suggestion please?
I'm studying to be a professional photographer and am looing into a new camera lens. I plan on doing lots of portriture, nature, landscape- basically the whole mix. I currently use a Nikon D40 and use a 55-200 non Vibration Reduction lens. I was looking into the 55-300 vibration reduction and the 70-300 vibration reduction but I don't know if the extra 100mm will be benificial for so much more money. So my question is, would it be benificial for me to buy the lens I already have (55-200mm) just with vibration reduction? Also, if anyone uses VR, does it really make that much of a difference? Would it help increase the sharpness?
