Why don't you see nearly as many people using the Nikon D7000 for video over the Canon T2i?

What I've seen they seem to be similae but I haven't seen much but I know the 550d looks amazingly perfect I'm just leining toward the D7000 because I'm a Nikon fan and I like it mcuh better but is it really not as good as the Canons? This puts me in a dilemma

The d7000 has even professional canon shooters impressed. Go for it. The price for the punch it has? AMAZING.

The T2i is cheaper and has been available for much longer than the D7000, so it's just normal that the T2i has sold more units than the D7000 by now. Hence you see more videos recorded by T2is than by D7000s.

The D7000 will sell less than the T2i because the T2i is aimed more for the consumer. The Canon 60D is what is comparable to the D7000, not the Canon T2i.
