Any SLR that is better than Nikon D90? - 1
I'm planning to buy a Nikon D90 and I'm not sure if it's the right one for me. I'm a multimedia arts student so I use the camera for photo shoots and video recording, so is D90 the right one for me? Or there's much better SLR (any brand) than D90? And more affordable? All of my friends are getting Canon EOS 600 and I want mine to be different and much better than them (screw them, joke!) so any recommendations?
How can we use macro lens adaptor for 18-105mm lense?
Recently i brought a macro + wide angel lens adaptor (67mm) from ebay, i fit that adaptor on my lense filter(67mm) but still i'm not getting any focus on my 18-105mm nikon lens. I'm using Nikon D7000.so jus wondering whether macro lens adaptor can be use in 18-105mm lens? If yes then what procedure i have to follow?
Multiple long exposures for astrophotography?
I'm wondering if anyone has experience with the Nikon D5000's menus. I'd like to take several hundred 30-second exposures over the course of a few hours, but I can't *** figure out for my life how to put the camera into this mode.
I figured out how to use bulb mode and did an hour-long exposure, but I'd really like to try compiling several hundred exposures to (hopefully) minimize noise.
All I want to do is press the shutter once and have the camera take 30-second exposures continuously.
Added (1). The interval timer is indeed the way to do this. I was just setting the exposure time / interval time as the same number, so I was telling it to do something impossible.
Choosing a 30-second exposure and choosing 32+ second interval is the way to go.
What's like the nikon d5100 but costs less?
Ok so i wanted the nikon d5100 but my mom says its too expensive, so any suggestions on a camera similar to the nikon between the price range of $300-$700.

Should I return my Nikon d3100?
Today I was trying to take pictures of my dad playing ping pong and it all turned out blurry, all 50 photos. When my friend was playing soccer, I tried to catch good photos and only managed 1/100, the rest were blurry, and even still I had to edit it. Today I tried to take rain pictures and it was bad. Should I return Nikon d3100 or is it all my fault the pics are blurry, or maybe the settings fault?

I'm looking for a camera around 500 dollars that takes amazing HD video like the D5000 and the Canon models but also takes good photos.
What are some good lenses with big aperture for a D3100?
So a i just buy this camera (Nikon D3100) and these lenses SIGMA 18-200 f/1:3, 5 - 1:6, 3, and i find myself complaining about the small max aperture of the camera, that really make it hard for shooting photos in low light, and don't give such a high dof, and i was thinking about buying some lens with a bigger max aperture, it may be with a fixed focal length(i think a 18-55 would be more expensive, i don't really know much about price tags), but anything lower than 35mm, i tried searching for models, but i'm not sure when the models are compatible with my camera, i would really be thankful for any help
My nikon d40 flash won't pop up. How do I fix this?
It just won't pop up, i think it has a small lock but i don't know why its not working, it worked well just a few minutes ago… The battery is full by the way, so its not that.
Ps. I would give as much points as you like, this is very important, just tell me how to fix it.
