How to import pictures onto a memory card?
I have a Nikon D40 and I need to upload some photos onto the memory card. The memory card is a micro SD inside a full size SD adapter (so it can fit inside the camera). I have a mac computer, I've tried dragging the photos into the memory card folder on my desktop and it works, but then the photos don't show up in the picture library on my camera. All of my photos are on iPhoto, but I'm only trying to upload two photos, so I know the memory card is big enough. Help please!
Added (1). Both pictures are JPEGs, if thats what you're asking

My camera lens will not auto-focus?
I have a 18-55 kit lens mounted on a Nikon D70. When I take a look inside of the lens without dissembling it seems as if my aperture rings are out of place. It may or may not be the aperture ring but it's something that seems like it inside of the lens. I was wondering if that is inflicting with the ability for it to auto-focus because it can't sense the depth of field of anything. Any help will be appreciated.

Can i get your opinion? Pictures? - 1
This is my photostream. I just got my nikon d40 a couple days ago. Its my first dslr and i'm completely new to this. I used photoshop to edit and just wanted to see if they were even slightly artistic or decent. Any opinions?

Why is my non-DX Nikon 50mm f/1.8D lens actually 50mm in a DX camera?
I have a Nikon D80 DSLR camera which is not full format (FX) but rather DX, and I'm using the 18-135 mm DX kit lens. I also own a Nikon 50mm f/1.8D lens, which is supposed to be 50mm for FX cameras, as it is not specifically for DX cameras (there's a separate DX lens of the same variety).
The lens I own is exactly this one: http://www.amazon.com/...00005LEN4/
The reviews also say that this lens effectively is 75mm for use in DX cameras. I had always assumed that my lens was effectively 75mm while taking pictures. However yesterday I decided to compare my two lenses: I shot the same scene with both 50 and 75mm focal lengths with my kit lens, then shot with my 50mm prime lens. To my surprise, the picture from the 50mm lens was exactly the same with the 50mm on my kit lens, not the 75mm.
So I'm completely dumbfounded, why is this so?

Can a Nikon D90 film as well as a Canon 60D? Which is better for filming?
Can a Nikon D90 film as well as a Canon 60D? Which is better for filming?

I'm looking into getting a DSLR camera and have narrowed it down to these two options. I really like all the features on the A55 but some people tell me not to go with Sony for DSLR cameras. Which one is better?

Will you critique my photos? Would love to start doing this For more than a hobby
Please let me know what you think regarding my portraits. All done with my Nikon D3000, 50mm 1.8 lens. And All manual Focus (which I'm getting use to). TIA!
Added (1). Do you Really think these were taking with an Iphone.NO! I uploaded them to FB for my cousin, who is in the portraits. My child sleeps in the room with my computer, so on my down time I just saved from FB to my phone, then loaded them on my flicker App. So much you can do with technology. These were taken with my D3000, like said above.

What is the difference between HDR and Multiple Exposure photography?
I have a Nikon D5100 and both these functions are available built in. From what I can see, both take multiple shots and different exposures, but I'm not sure what the difference is.

My Nikon D40 won't take picture on close-up?
I have the AF-S Nikkor 55-200mm ED. It won't take the picture when i'm close to the object.

I think I want to sell my Nikon D90, how much could I get for it?
The expensive part (base? I don't know) is very much new for I barely use the camera itself, only when I'm filming. I hate the way the camera films so I'm considering getting a Canon D60. I also have a 18-200 mm lens with a 72 mm UV lens protector over it. The lens itself has a few hits to it for my cousin dropped it and it rolled down the driveway… I know, fail. I also have a protective bag too. How much should I sell this all for and is there a store that takes these cameras? I Really want a Canon D60, and it would be perfect if I can get the money from this to buy it!
