Are all Nikon lenses compatible with the D3100?
I know that the Canon T2i is compatible with all Canon lenses and I was wondering if the D3100 did the same with all Nikon lenses or if there are restrictions.
Camera lenses for nikon d5100?
I just recently got a nikon d5100.im new to DSLR's and I had a few questions. One is can I use any Lens on this camera? Because I understand that the motor is in the Lens. If not can anyone give me a place where there's a list of lenses that are compatible? And my final question is, how do you set the ISO on it?
I want to set up a sort of photography studio in my room, and my room isn't very big, so it can't take up too much space. I just think it would be fun and good practice to take better lit pictures of people, like a photo-shoot. I want to be able to make a DIY lighting (I want it to be lit well). I know it won't be as great as the real thing, but that is okay. I have a nikon d5000 camera. Ideas on how to do this?
I have narrowed it down between 2 cameras and just don't know which one was better so I thought you guys could help. The cameras are the canon t2i (canon 550 D) or the nikon d3100 any suggestions would help

My new camera is giving me shocks?
I recently (Monday) bought the new Nikon d5100 and today I plugged it into my computer with the USB connection, and the metal points (strap clips, flash shoe) are giving me small shocks, like static. Taking it in is not ideal as I don't want to wait for it to be repaired, there are two possible factors affecting this, the computer has USB port problems, and it is extremely humid at the moment, the temperature is like 36 degrees Celsius. Is it a fault of the camera?

What's a really good DSLR for movie making?
I have a canon rebel t3, I'm not in LOVE with the movie mode. I'm upgrading my camera since I've had this camera for a while now, what should I get? I mainly do youtube videos and short films but I'm also into shooting photography, I was debating between the Canon Rebel t3i, but it doesn't have continuous autofocus, and the Nikon d5100. Now I'm asking you guys. My price range is 500-800 I don't want to get too crazy though. I really love the swivel screens on the canon rebel t31 and the nikon d5100, so I would hope that it would have swivel screens. Also, I don't really want to turn to a camcorder because like I said, I would also like to take pictures.
