Which camera to get?

I have narrowed it down between 2 cameras and just don't know which one was better so I thought you guys could help. The cameras are the canon t2i (canon 550 D) or the nikon d3100 any suggestions would help

It's really a matter of personal preference. Play with both, see which one you prefer when navigating the different settings and stuff. I shoot with Canon myself, I just like the way the dials are positioned on the Camera more, and what's I was used to from learning with a Canon.
