I need something with a lot of zoom, which the Canon has, But I also need something that takes good night photos which I know the FujiFilm does along with the Nikon.

I was thinking of buying the Sigma 10-20mm F3.5 EX DC HSM Lens for my nikon D5000. Just wondering if anyone has used this lens with the nikon d5000 and if so how sharp are the images. And are there any problems to look out for with this lens.

I'm just wondering if anyone has experience with these cameras and can tell me what they're like, pros/cons, or anything you want to add.
I would mainly be using it for taking more artsy pictures that I can't take with my P&S, and also for some video recording.

I'm quite interested in Tamron's as it is a good price and the review from my photog magazine gave it 4 stars against Nikon's own wide angle lens.

Added (1). Yes, indeed you can find TONS of fab lenses under $30. I just don't know which one. I usually use my camera for sports or people pictures. EXAMPLES: fisheye, macro lenses, ETC.
How to gt rid of motion blur on a nikon d5100?
I was shooting video, and I noticed a LOT of motion blur.rendering it impossible to motion track. Is there a way to get rid of it?
