How to gt rid of motion blur on a nikon d5100?
I was shooting video, and I noticed a LOT of motion blur.rendering it impossible to motion track. Is there a way to get rid of it?
Three options are - Shoot in areas with more light, use a faster lens or crank up your ISO
Yes, use a fast lens and shoot at shutter speeds of 1/500th second or faster. To be able to shoot at such high shutter speeds, then you may have to raise your ISO to at least 3200.
Here are two samples, both shot at high ISO and fast shutter speeds.
Okay that covers shooting stills.
Shooting video is a whole different issue.
Your fps is either 24 fps or 30 fps. At those frame rates, there will be blur, it is inevitable when shooting video and using ANY camera movements. This is why you will see video production companies use a lot of added light when shooting video.
Welcome to the world of shooting video. These problems are usually covered in the third or forth lecture of the first classes in film school
