How to view how many pictures I can take left on my Nikon d3100?
I have a Nikon D3100 and I want to know how many more pictures I can take I have an 8 Gb memory card but I can't seem to find a place on the camera where it will tell me how many pictures I can take. Please help! Thanks!

Should I keep battery in DSLR?
I'm using Nikon D5000. When I keep battery overnight or 2-3 days inside the camera it's always discharge. Anyone can help about my simple question?

I left my Nikon d3000 outside overnight (don't remind me how stupid i'm, I'm already beating myself up about it) and this morning it was soaked. There was some condensation inside the lcd, and everything was coated with water.looking through the viewfinder, everything is foggy. I wiped off the lens and removed the battery and memory card, along with all the obvious water. I blow-dried it on low and cool settings until the LCD condensation went away. I've read about putting it in rice overnight, but would it be better to just bring it to a professional As soon as possible? Tell me honestly: does it have a chance? If it could be repaired, how much would it cost?
All my photo's from my nikon d70 are black?
Can anyone help me please, I have a Nikon D70 which I love, now suddenly this week all my photo's that I take come out all black. I've changed the battery, formatted/changed cards, and reset by the button under the camera, cleaned the contacts on the lenses to body, I've made sure the shutter is working and the mirror lock up too… All with the problem still there. Can anyone help me please?

Nikon D5000 and sb800 as master mounted on hotshoe?
I just recently purchased a Nikon sb800, to act as a master to my sb600. I know the d5000 does not have wireless capability, but I'm find with having the sb800 on the camera body to act as a master to the sb600.
but I'm confused on how to get this to work. I feel like i'm missing something.
I have set the sb800 in master mode, and have set the sb600 in slave/remote (since it is the only function the sb600 is capable of)
But I'm still not getting the 800 to fire the 600. What am I doing wrong?

Can you lock the f stop on a the Nikon D5100?
I'm not even sure if that is possible or not.
I have a Nikon D3100 DSLR Camera and recently, the dial to change modes on top stopped corresponding with the mode that appears on the monitor. By this I mean, when I switch the dial to Macro Mode, on screen it shows Sports Mode, yet when I change the dial to Sports Mode, it displays Sports mode. This makes certain modes unable to access on my camera. I have never dropped it and I haven't even had it for a year. I purchased it in November of 2011 from Costco and I did not sign up for the insurance on it. I've already tried taking out the battery and changing the Shooting Options(Single Shot, Multi Shot, etc.). My camera is my life and I can't afford to buy a new one. Please Help. Please! I cried when I found that it wasn't working. It really means a lot to me.

I have a Nikon D3000 and I know the basics about it but it was a random gift so I never really knew anything about cameras or how to use them. I want to take pictures of the clouds and moon and stars at night and was wondering what I have to do to capture them? Or what setting to put it on. I tried googling this all and reading the manual but it's just too complicated
