Flash not working on Nikon D3100?
What's going on?
Added (1). When i put it on flash mode, the flash unit pops up, but when i press the button to take the picture, the flash doesn't go off. I can only see the flash in the dark. It is very very very dim.
Are all Nikon lenses okay for a Nikon D5100?

I love arts and stuff its to long to define it and i want to buy my first DSLR Camera i'm not quiet sure what camera should i buy but i got my eyes on the new Nikon D7000 (the only budget i can afford right now i can't go higher) and if i'm going to buy this camera as low budget first i should get the D7000 body then maybe a good Lens for it and yet i don't know which good lens for this camera (maybe you guys give me some suggestions on this), secondly after i get my first camera what should i do next? (obviously i go take some pictures on whatever what its inspires me as i look at them as art) so i can i make money for taking some of pictures and stuff? Should i really buy Nikon D7000 i'm not that adventurist person unlike other people out there they can go whenever they want and take some good pictures as for me? I don't have a time for vacation as my job is always doing some computer stuff in front of desk all day… So any suggestion about this plan?

I got two options to buy my first DSLR. #1 is to buy Canon 60d with 18-200 lens. #2 is to buy Nikon d7000 with 18-105 lens. So which is better.regarding the price I can get d7000 from Canada as the same price for Canon 60d in US. So we can say the price is the same. So which one I have to add to the cart.

Well my fiance's nan just gave me an olympus om10 film camera,
and i know the basics of how to work it but i want to know how to
get really good photo's.
I've used film camera's a few times on my photography course
a couple of years ago when i was studying photography but i
mainly focused on digital photography because i got a nikon D5000
but did not have a film camera (my friend let me use his dads for
the compulsory film bit of the project)
so i was just wondering how to get really nice pictures like what
should i have all the settings on etc
(i'm going to start using it tomorrow because my fiance's
going to get me some films and new batteries for it)
