Sigma 10-20mm F3.5 EX DC HSM?
I was thinking of buying the Sigma 10-20mm F3.5 EX DC HSM Lens for my nikon D5000. Just wondering if anyone has used this lens with the nikon d5000 and if so how sharp are the images. And are there any problems to look out for with this lens.
I have it, and have used it with several Canon DSLRs…
It's a terrific lens. A bit of softness at the corners wide open at 10mm, but by f/5.6 it's nicely sharp all over the frame. Terrific wide-angle views, amazingly little distortion. I recommend it.
I use it on canon and it is a lovely well built lens, just watch out for vignetting
Really, it depends on your photographic skills and knowledge as to how clear or sharp the images are…
you can spend thousands on the equipment, but without the basic knowledge to use them correctly, you won't get what you are wanting…
personally, i use the Tamron 10-24mm lens… Both this and the Sigma 10-20mm f/3.5-f/4.5 are good lenses… And cheaper than the f/3.5…
