My Nikon won't turn(even with a new charged battery) and when I looked in the viewfinder eyepiece it was grainy and it was dimmer than usual. Is my nikon broke? I would like to know because I'm taking a photography class for school and I would need my nikon. Please and thank you.
Added (1). I tried to turn it on with the lens but it still didn't work and it won't on:/

New camera body versus new lens for old camera?
I use a sony a200, its kinda old 2008 or 2009 model, 10.2 MP. If i was to upgrade to a nikon d7000 or a 18 MP DSLR, will it improve my pictures or will it just add more features/buttons. Or would upgrading from a 55mm macro lens to a telephoto or standard lens be a better choice?

I really really wanted the D3000 for my birthday but my mom found out that the camera isn't made anymore. I found some available on techforless.com but I was wondering if there's any other camera like the D3000 either a Nikon or Canon, around $400 that I could look into in case I or my parents can't find the D3000. I'm really just looking for an DSLR at the very least.

Need camera purchasing advice?
Howdy. I want to begin photography but I'm having a bit of trouble looking for which camera to buy. So I'm aware that there are point and shoot, SLR, and DSLR cameras. I'm aiming for a budget at least 200 dollars or below (I came to an understanding that cameras are NOT cheap). So I'm most likely not going to get a SLR or DSLR with my budget unless its something like a used Nikon D70 which I'm iffy on because its pretty old. But if its a point and shoot that I'm going to look for, I want it to be a semi-complex camera that I can work with for a while but also aids me in taking gorgeous pictures.
Bottom line is, I have a 200 dollar budget and can't afford a SLR or DSLR. I'd like a good semi-complex camera (if possible) that I could work with for a while. If you have an suggestions on any great cameras (point and shoots are absolutely acceptable as well as any SLR or DSLR that are available at my budget).

How to take High Res photos with a Nikon D90?
I have a Nikon D90 with a 18 to 105mm lens. I would like my photos to be less grainy and to be High Res and look professional. Is there or smething I should do in Adobe Lightroom or a setting I need to have my camera on? I try to take pics in RAW when I want high quality but the grainyness is still there.
I know how to use my camera on Manual. So if you want to explain using iso, aperture, Fstop, shutter speed. I will understand.

I've been taking part in the hobby of Photography for at least a year when I got a Nikon D40 on a deal ($100) which I currently still have⦠Lately Canons have caught my eye and I was wondering if it'd be a good move to move on from my D40 into the Canons? I currently have three lens and a speedlight with my D40, 1.4 lens, 55 - 200m lens, 18-55AF lens, If I was to package and sell all this would I be able to advance onto a Canon EOS 5D Mark III?

Will a Film SLR Lens work on a Digital SLR Body?
I have some Film Pentax lens (50mm, and 135mm), and i was wondering if they would work on a Nikon Digital SLR Body? D3100 is the model i was thinking of getting, if it won't work on this, will these lens work on any other Digital SLR body? I do not care much for auto focus, and these lens do not have it, will they still work with no auto focus?

Does the nikon d3100 comes with a charger?
I want to buy the nikon d3100 at walmart but the description doesn't mention the charger, just the body and the lense. I wanted to know if that is normal because it is kind of obvious that new cameras come with their respective charges but I just wanted to make sure before the purchase.
