Need camera purchasing advice?
Howdy. I want to begin photography but I'm having a bit of trouble looking for which camera to buy. So I'm aware that there are point and shoot, SLR, and DSLR cameras. I'm aiming for a budget at least 200 dollars or below (I came to an understanding that cameras are NOT cheap). So I'm most likely not going to get a SLR or DSLR with my budget unless its something like a used Nikon D70 which I'm iffy on because its pretty old. But if its a point and shoot that I'm going to look for, I want it to be a semi-complex camera that I can work with for a while but also aids me in taking gorgeous pictures.
Bottom line is, I have a 200 dollar budget and can't afford a SLR or DSLR. I'd like a good semi-complex camera (if possible) that I could work with for a while. If you have an suggestions on any great cameras (point and shoots are absolutely acceptable as well as any SLR or DSLR that are available at my budget).

The Vixia HF R200 photo's are my second attempt at still photography--useing a camcorder.
They are un-edited. Just as the camcorder captured them.
The SX-150 is
I have been taking still photographs since I was 11-yrs.old.
There are probably some decent used DSLR's that could be had for $200, but individuals who you don't know are a risky source, and stores with a known reputation are just about certain to ask for more. If you actually know a camera nut who keeps buying the latest thing, he or she may be willing to declutter some pretty good used stuff cheaply if you seem appreciative of it.
