Is the NIKKOR 16-85mm any good?
I have a Nikon D3100 and am planning to buy the replacement to the D7000 in the future. Is this lens any good compared to the kit 18-105?

External flash threw off my camera focus?
I just got a new external flash (a TT560 Speedlite) for my Nikon D3100.It fires fine and everything, but as soon as I started using it, everything became blurry through the viewfinder, even when I switched it to manual focus and looked through the entire range of it. The really weird thing is, when I have it on autofocus and take a photo, the final product comes out clear and in focus--it's just that when I'm taking it I have no idea what's in focus or not. Since I vastly prefer manual controls this is a problem. Has anyone else had problems like this with external flash messing up your camera? Is there a way to fix it?

What is a great lens for a Nikon D7000?
I'm looking to do some outdoor photography and just wanted to know what would be a great lens to get some great shots. Would a wide lens do the job? Also what would be a great lens for portraits? Some recommended me with a telephoto lens, but never used them before.

Nikon won't focus when object is close?
I have an d5100 SLR Nikon (18-200 mm lens) and i used to have no problem focusing when zoomed. Now if i'm on macro mode or zoom in with the lens for something close, it will not focus or let me take a picture. I have auto focus selected and the switch on the lense is on auto. It used to work fine.

Panasonic TZ20 - Is it any good?

Diana+ versus Holga? Instant back?
So, my boyfriend is in love with my camera, my Nikon D5000. We were just talking the other day, and he was talking about how he would love to have a vintage camera, especially an instant film camera. I've been looking into cameras for him, and I think lomography would fit him really nicely. Although, I'm torn between a Diana+ and a Holga. Both have instant film backs you can add, although Diana's aren't too great, while Holga's is super expensive. There's a Diana kit on Amazon which has basically every attachment you could want, minus the instant back, of course, for a little over $200.It even comes with the camera. Just the instant back for the Holga is over $170, plus the $30 for the camera, and we're around the same price, with only one attachment instead of many. I feel like getting the Holga instant back is guarenteed to work, but with the Diana, you can get so many more attachments. I'm stuck.
