How to connect a camera to a printer that is not PictBridge?

You do not need a computer just a printer that has a PictBridge, which connects the camera via a lead to the printer, or SD card slot.
The pictures usually show up on a small LCD screen of the printer and that allows you to chose which picture you want to then print.
This is instant as the digital picture require no developing. Once on the card they can be taken to the printer and immediately printed.
