Should I sell my 18-55mm lens?
Should I sell my Nikkor 18-55 VR lens? At the moment I have that and the 55-200 and I'm saving up to buy the Nikon 50mm f1.4 AF-S for my Nikon D5000. Do you think the 50mm 1.4 is alright for everyday kinda 'going around' photos and photos of you and your friends etc? Or would it be better just to keep my 18-55 for those kind of photos?

I'm interested in purchasing a Nikon D3100. I just need to know which lens would be best for my needs.
I will be shooting alot of sports (baseball, football, and soccer mostly) as well as auditorium/gymnasium events like plays, graduation, etc. I need a lens with some length, I'm just having a hard time deciding what's best for me. Any ideas?
Also, does anyone have ideas on the most cost conscience way to purchase this camera and lens? I have no choice but to purchase a camera so I want to spend the cash wisely.

I'm looking for a decent camera, and am new to DSLR's etc- I have seen the Nikon D3100 and the Panasonic Lumix G2- what do you recommend and why?

I'm in the market for a DSLR, and I'm really on the fence of which one to buy. I like Nikon's products, but I have had Canon's and they are also reliable. I also saw the new Sony NEX 3 and it is a great looking camera. Also for only $499, it seems like a great deal. But I need more opinions.

Can i use external flash if my nikon d5000 built-in flash not working?
We returned the camera to the store to check the built-in flash since it is under service warranty. After checking they said that the flash has a circuit problem which is expensive if they will repair it. Can we buy external flash instead of repairing the built-in flash? Hope to hear answers or suggestion from you.
