What SLR digital camera should i go for?
Hi! I'm looking to photograph models in clothing, i want something that is appropriate especially for web. (so i don't mind too much about MP) I don't want anything too fancy, but something that will last and that has nice tones to it. (I hear Nikon and Canon are good makes to go for) My budget is about £200-300ish. Ideally it'd be second hand but in good condition. I'm an amateur so where could i get one from, and can anyone recommend any makes/models please?
Best prime lens length for sports?
I have a very big budget and would like to know which is the best length of zoom for outdoor sports
I saw a nikon 80-400mm f/4 but i'm not sure if this varied lens is the best.

Canon Digital Rebel XSi and Canon Digital Rebel XS comparison?
Is there really much of a difference? Which one is better? What Nikon model would either of these be the most similar to?
A good digital SLR for someone a bit above amateur /entry-level?
I'm not completely new to the photo scene. I have some experience with others digital SLR's as well as experience with traditional film SLR's. I've been into photography for abour six years, and have done tons of research and shooting. For level of knowledge I would see myself a bit above an amateur looking to take "nice shots". However I'm by no means whatsoever a professional. I'm looking for something with (most importantly) 'good' image quality overall, as well as lots of manual controls, good in low light, impressive macro capability etc.etc. I realize most of the image quality & these features are in the lens itself… Do you recommend Nikon or Canon? Or perhaps another brand… I'd like to know of a specific model please. I'm doing my research, but opinions are always nice. Thank you!

Is Sony, Nikon, or Canon the best for digital cameras?

I'm an amateur photographer trying to get into film photography…
I understand the basic stuff like the ISO dial is on the left, shutter speed dial on the right, and aperture is on the lens. I know how to put in the film and I'm pretty sure I put the batteries in the right way (LOL) but I can't figure out why the mirror locks up every time I try taking a picture on any shutter setting besides m90. I'm not even sure if my pictures are being taken because every time I set the shutter settings to bulb or any other one the mirror gets stuck and I have to set it back to m90 to reset it. The LED meter dot things isn't showing either.
