Can my camera do multiple exposures?
Lately i've been hearing of cameras being able to do multiple exposures and merging the photos without post editing, i have a basic canon DSLR 550d and wanted to know whether my camera can do this, i've looked at the manual and don't understand enough of the technicals to know if it can, and if it can't can anyone suggest one where i can, i don't want to use photoshop though, it's too complicated! For example i saw in a book, someone took a pic of a city landscape and turned the camera around, then took a pic of the moon and the camera (a nikon) managed to merge the photos together with no ghosting or blurred effects, it looked as if the moon had been shopped and pasted onto the skyline pic.
Problem with film lever and capture button on 35mm camera?
I have a photography project due very soon and my camera won't let me take any pictures.
I loaded the film, but when I went to take a picture the capture button wouldn't press and the lever wouldn't go back, it would only go halfway and stop. I thought that perhaps I needed new batteries so I went out and bought some, but it still won't let me take any pictures. The button still won't press and the lever still won't go back. Wtf?
It's a Nikon fm10. Can anyone tell me what's wrong?
Added (1). Wow Johnny Martyr, way to be an a**hole. You're real cool.
What lenses are good for the Nikon FM2?
Okay, so I've been wanting a film SLR (I already have a DSLR) for my upcoming high school photography class. I saw the FM2 on the B&H Photography site, read up on it, and knew that I wanted it right away.
It's only the body that's for sale though. I want to buy a lens that'll work well with the FM2 (I know it has to be F-mount and have Automatic Indexing). Keep in mind that, with my high school student budget, I can really only buy a lens that's $200 or less, or even more than one with a combined price of $200 or less. (The FM2 is about $275.)
So I'd really appreciate a list of SPECIFIC lenses that I could buy! Not just the types (like AF) but the name of an actual lens.
Thanks!
P.S. I'd really like to know how an Autofocus lens can work on a fully manual camera, too. It'd be nice if someone could tell me.
How to change the film speed of a Nikon F65 film slr camera?
I just started using a Nikon F65 film slr camera and need a bit of help with it. I've used a slr film camera before but it was all manual. Do I need to put in the film before I change the film speed? And how do I do so?
My nikon 55mm lense is acting up. It is blinking fE E in the top right hand corner

What size filter do I need for an Olympus Zuiko 14-54mm f2.8-3.5 Digital Zoom Lens?
It has "67mm" written on the end.
Is that the correct size?
Does that mean I can buy any filter on ebay that is 67mm even if the description says "for canon nikon" etc
An SLR camera that's under $600?
I want either a Nikon or a Canon I think. And at my local Wolf Camera shop I think there are some Nikons for somewhere around $400. What kind do you suggest and are there any kinds that are under $600?
I would love to get a dslr, but i don't wish to spend alot of money. But i want a dslr which is quite good in performance while being sold for a considerable price
What is a Promaster Spectrum 7 Filter?
I recently received a Nikon N2000 film camera as a gift. However, it came with three filters that I'm unsure what they do, being that I'm new to photography.
One of them came in a box, but I'm not sure which one. The box says:
ZEITZ QUARTZ
GLASS MOLDED
HIGH RESOLUTION
COATED FILTER
The first filter I think is a protective cover sort of thing just so the lens doesn't get damaged. Please tell me if I'm wrong.
HAZE 52mm (UV) Made in Korea
The second and third filters I have no clue what the do. They are:
PROMASTER SPECTRUM 7 52mm C. S Made in Japan
ROLEV M. G. 49mm STAR
A query regarding Panasonic digital camera?
Does anyone have an idea regarding the performance of Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ20? I've read all its specifications and seems like they've merged all sleek digicams produced till date into one masterpiece!
Features like "Touch, 3D, great zoom, fabulous ISO, good wide-angle, great resolution, pretty close shoot, great shutter speed range, Full HD video at very good frame rate, good burst shooting and yet a sleek camera" instantly attracted me towards this camera!
However, with such dense circuitry packed on a small board, I have started to doubt its performance, especially since the camera biggies like Canon and Nikon haven't yet come out with such a marvellous product!
Does its performance really vindicate its specifications? How do the audio and video quality fare? Is the 3D feature really very impressive? I have yet seen about it only on a YouTube video.
Most important of all, how much exactly is its price? I'm from India and wish to know the lowest price known till date. It is yet to be launched in India, and I saw online the prices mentioned in other currencies like kronas, pounds, dollars, etc., but found great variations when converted to Indian Rupees. This has left me bewildered.
Lastly, does anybody have any reservations about this camera? Any better choice than this one? Kindly do mention theseā¦
Thanks in advance to all who answer and even give it an attempt.
