My camera got dropped in southern comfort?

Only the bottom got wet, and it was working fine last night. The battery eventually died, but not it won't charge. I've tried multiple outlets and two different chargers. I have problems with my camera, Nikon S70, not charging before. I don't know if its the battery, the camera, or the charger. What should i do?

Digital camera that shoots high-quality stills and HD video at 60fps?

I'm looking for a DSLR, SLR, or ISLR-like digital camera that shoots high-quality stills, HD video at 60fps in 720p or 1080p, and does slow motion video playback for under $1000.

Something like the Casio EX-F1, which is no longer available in retail.

Most cameras that I see do less than 10fps. And I haven't found any (Canon, Sony, Nikon, Samsung) that offer slow-motion playback.

Does any manufacturer offer a product like this?

Is this camera good for an amateur photographer?

I'm in highschool, just having fun but I do love photography. Unfortunately I have a habit of adopting new hobbies and giving them up. I'm hoping to stick to photography but the cameras are expensive and knowing me I decided to be frugal.

I will be taking scenic pictures. Which means I need a 18-55mm lens.

Anyways my budget was $600-700 for a DSLR.

HOWEVER upon looking at the flyers I found a NIKON digital camera that has the following:

4.5 - 94.5mm
21x Zoom
1:3.1 - 5.8
14.1 Megapixel
3.0'' LCD
720 HD Video

The price is $229.99. I think this is a good deal even though it's not a DSLR it will do the job right? What do you guys thing based on my needs?

Which Bokeh is better Nikon 50mm 1.4g VS Nikon 85mm 1.4d?

About to purchase my very first nikon lens, I've used off brand ones before was wondering which one of those have a better bokeh (it they do) I'm leaning more towards the 50mm because its cheaper, But i want to be able to shoot big.

I'm a amateur photographer, and do mostly portraits of children, Please tell me which do you think i should use Just curios on opinions from those who already have these lenses, or tried them I rented the 50mm 1.4 G, it arrives today.

Nikon lens is hunting for AF?

I have an 18-55 nikon lens that won't 'lock on' the AF unless in good daylight ie it hunts for focus indoors and at night. Is it fit for the rubbish bin?

Added (1). Er, thanks guys. I have been using SLRs for 15 years and and used to be in the profession. If anyone who fixes lens or has had the same problem please comment thanks.

Added (2). Thanks for your answers. As I mentioned, I'm not a newbie, I know about AF in low light. This lens has a problem and I was hoping someone could tell me if this problem can be easily fixed, or just dump the lens.

Autofocus on nikon macro lens?

I have a nikon macro lens that has a switch to turn the lens to M (manual) or M/A (manual/automatic focus). The instructions say that when switched to M/A, to use the manual focus you have to lightly press the shutter button while at the same time manually focus the camera, but it seems to manually focus without me having to lightly press the shutter button when switched to M/A. Does anyone know why the instructions say to press the shutter button at the same time as manually focusing in M/A?
