Ok so I'm thinking about getting a Digital SLR camera. I don't understand. I definitely want a Nikon. My dad keeps telling me that it has to do with the optics, but how do I know that it has good optics?

Added (1). Sorry. I didn't know I needed to specify. I it is a Minolta. I have never heard of the name outside of SLR. It says maxxum 330 si. I hope this helps!

When I plug in my ipod to the all outlet, it shows a plug icon instead of a lightning bolt. It worked fine before, but now, it needs a charge, but rejects the charge. Sometimes, itll change to a lightning bolt, but then, itll switch back to a plug. Its at 20% battery, and it still rejects the charge.why?

New dslr body without auto focus motor and image stabilization?
How much does the Vr +Af lense cost than the normal lenses
or it would be more good idea to have a body which have both of these just to reduce the lense price in the future
as i don't have any old lenses to use so is this true that all new nikon lenses are Af and Vr(image stabilization built in) so body with those feature will not give me any benefit as i have to buy the same pricey lenses
I just bought a Nikon FM10 Film SLR camera with hot-shoe flash mount. However, it didn't come with an external flash. I can't seem to find a flash on amazon that's not made for digital cameras. I really need a hot-shoe flash that is made for film SLR's. Do you know of any website where I can find such accessories?
