Digital SLR photography is one of my favourite hobbies, and I want to purchase a macro lens, yet I have no experience with lens purchases. I came across these, and found them very cheap. I was wondering exactly what they were used for? I've never encountered those before.
Also, this is a very cheap fisheye lens. I'm very surprised at the price, but I was wondering if this would work well? I'm just guessing here, but this lens attaches to the one you have attached onto the SLR, am I correct?

I'm new to lenses, so please try and bear with me.
Thinking about getting a great camera for photography?
My friend has a nikond40 and I noticed that camera is really good with taking pictures, and yes I do have experience with taking photography. So I asked about getting the nikond40 but I guess they are the model from last year in 2010 and I read that the nikon is like 500 dollars which is fine; but I was wondering what they are newest model is of the nikon and the best because hers takes extremely beautiful and realistic shots. <--- thats her camera I was wondering if they had a new model because that one is from 2010 and I don't think I could find one like that in a bestbuy and they probably have a better model now since its 2011
I need to buy a good camera for taking ordinary photographs, any suggestion?
I need a compact and good but cheap camera. I do not take many photos but sometimes i go out with my friends and i like to take photos and a camera that its photos are clear. I don't care about the megapixel because i used to have Nikon E8400 8MP but i always took photos with 2MP because it is not as heavy and big as an 8MB photo. I found Samsung ES10 and it looked as a very good camera but since i'm not that expert in cameras and their specifications i can't say if it is good or bad. I found it for 130USD and it is very cheap. Please give your opinion about it and what are its strong points and what are its weak points. And if you know a similar camera with the similar range of price please let me know.thanks
Which will be more likely to get people to let me make their photograph?
I was using a Nikon L14 which I had bought in December 2007.It was a 7.1 Megapixel cam with 3x zoom.Bt recently its battery lid broke n I can use it any more. So I'm thinking of buying a new one.
My requirements are as follows:
Since I'm not a pro photographer. Any cam with 8+ Megapixels will do.
NO specific requirement for zoom.
If possible I would like to have a Panaroma Assist or Sweep Panaroma feature.
My budget is very low: Rs. 5000 - 7000
Any brand can do.
What camera is right for me? - 2
Although I'm a new photographer, I feel like I've outgrown my point-and-shoot Nikon. I'm looking for a new camera got interested in the Interchangeable Lens cameras that are quite compact. So, that is the kind that sounds best but is it? I liked the look of the Lumix G series but is there any one that is best? (and doesn't cost more than a new car, if you know what i mean… )
I know this sounds very foolish but?
Tiffany & Co.microfiber polishing cloths, I'm sure it's not okay but,
would it be alright if I use it to clean my nikon lens? I don't have the time to go buy one for the lens right now but I really need to clean my lens, it's causing my pictures to come out way too blurry
and I'm still a beginner at photography so would there be anything else that I can use to clean the lens?

What would be the best digital camera in $200 range?
I want to buy a camera in the range of $200 which would be the best among them? My preferred brand would be Sony, Canon, Nikon, Olympus. I'm basically looking for the best quality picture in higher pixels.
