What is the smallest SLR camera in the nikon and the canon brand?

Please give the name of both, and as a bonus which one would better buying: cost and quality.

I want a small cute camera!

Added (1). I'm not interested in digital camera, I really want a DSLR. When I say small and cute I mean I want the lightest or smallest to easy carry around. I've looked on both websites i just want opinions. I'm not a pro

I saw a Hello Kitty camera at Target that was cute. A D-SLR is a digital camera, that's what the D stands for. D-SLRs are all big and black.

Your not interested in a digital camera? That what the "D" means in DSLR is digital - they're all digital.

There are no "small" bodies in the dslr market - as in small like a compact camera. With a lens these cameras are fairly good size just like the old slr film cameras.

No offense, but it is quite clear that you don't know what you are asking about. DSLR cameras ARE digital cameras. Their are no small DSLR cameras. They all have large camera bodies and interchangeable lenses which are quite bulky.

I don't know much about nikon, because i work for canon, but the rebel models are pretty small, and they don't all come in black. Some slr's are silver, some are a more flat-looking (non-metalic) color like gun-metal grey, and there are probably some other colors slr's come in as well.also, compact digital cameras are not slr's. The smallest slr i can think of is roughly L4"xW6"xD2". If that's still too big for you, then oh well, either accept the fact that it's not small enough, or stick with point-and-shoots.
