Looking for a new digital camera?

I'm looking into buying a new digital camera. I'm thinking Nikon or Cannon, but all suggestions are appreciated. I really just want it for a small hobby, not a big investment. My budget is $250, and I'd like to buy in a store not online. One thing I defiantly need is good focusing (sorry if I'm using the wrong terms, I'm not very experienced.) Just something that will take nice, clear photos without being too complicated. I also would like a colored camera (preferably red, blue or green) but it's not a deal breaker.

Try going to the Walmart/HHgreg websites, it depends on what stores in your area. They have price range and you can select a brand you want. Canon powershots, are 12 - 14 megapixel and there 200 dollars or so. & You can get the same digital camerea with nikons. Just try & go to a site and see.

I bought a Kodak brand digital camera from Wal Mart for less than $100. You can also try nearby pawn shops.
