Good kinds of digital cameras?

Like nikon… Etc. I don't even know other kinds but i want a digital camera and i'm gonna ask for one for my birthday in two months but i have no idea what kind to ask for! I know i want it to have flash/zoom and stuff. And it can't be over like 250 dollars.

I'm planning to buy digital camera this month and my budget is Rs 8000?

Which brand is best ( Sony / Nikon / Canon / FujiFilm / Kodak / Panosonic / any other… ) and should also have most of the features.

How many MP(8 MP, 10 MP, 12 MP… ) is sufficient enough?
Any website ( URL ) where I can see the photos / snaps taken in different MP? ( so that I can see the size of the photos for the respective MP )

A Digi cam with 8x optical zoom in the range of 10000Rs?

I want an 8x optical zoom with 12 or more mega pixel digital camera within 10000rs. I found only Kodak easyshare M580. But after some research i saw it has some problems and the company is not good as compared to canon, sony & nikon. Please suggest me a good digi cam with 8x optical zoom in 10000Rs & 12 mp. Or should i buy kodak easyshare M580? I'm so confused.

How to become more responsible?

So, I'm 13 years old and I have a lot of exspensive things, but it seems like I'm always breaking them or loosing them and my mom keeps saying that i'm irresponsible and that I don't take care of anything. (e.g. I just bought a brand new Flip Video Camera and the screen cracked and target won't take it back; I have had 3 phones in the 2011 year and its only July; I got a nikon camera for Christmas but am no longer able to use it because I lost the charger; I've dropped my laptop a couple of times on the ground and it has some scratches; I left my ipod touch in my pocket when I washed my shorts) see what I mean, is there any tips or something that can help me become more responsible or even just appear more responsible to my mom?
