Any digital camera with high megapixels?

I want a camera, but every camera there's, is very expensive. I want a Nikon D-SLR, but they're about $500. Anyone know about a camera for about at least $100 with high megapixels? I need it soon, & I can't get a very expensive one.

You seem to be under the impression that more pixels = higher quality.

10 mp to 14 mp seems to be the sweet spot not only for P&S cameras, but many dSLR's as well.

You really need to read up on cameras and types of cameras. Borrow a book from library or buy one on the Basics of Photography. It can very well help you decide with knowledge what to buy. You might compare different models of various companies at Website: dpreview.com

Ah you are going to print building size?

Just asking because you are talking about Megapixels. Did you know that a 4Mpixel camera can make pretty sharp prints on a Letter Size piece of photo paper. Didn't know that did you well it is true! And to make it even more stingy did you know that ever since we pretty much gone past 8Mpixel the image quality has severely suffered due to cramming to many pixels on to small sensors. At least this counts for most compact cameras. Yup A compact camera with 14 Mpixels is worse then one with 8.everything equal for the rest.

DSLR's yes those can go into even 18Mpixels these days. Because their sensor is bigger.see that makes a huge difference.

So really what can I say for around $100 you can't buy much. You can buy basic models that make pictures. But don't expect to much that is all I'm going to say.
