Hi, so I want too get a nice camera. But i'm not sure which one to get?
I don't want one of those simple cameras. I want one that focuses nicely, has good zoom, etc.
I absolutely love photography. So which one would be good for me?

Videos i transfer to my computer is a divx file?
I have a nikon 14.0 megapixel camera. And I transferred my videos i made to my computer. And some worked out perfectly but some of them turned out to only play and can be watched on divx? How do i fix this so that i can edit them to windows movie makers? And post them? Etc
How to start up a small photography business?
My mother is an experienced photographer, she has a large client base but she never actually became a "professional" photographer. She just bought a Nikon with good lenses for family photos and slowly people began requesting her for parties, weddings etc. She also does make up and hair. So I was thinking of combining her talent to have a photography and wedding make-up/hair in one. (But that's so far not part of my business plan)
My question is, if I want to start her a business and create her a website and also myself become a photographer (I've learned from her) how do I go about starting up a small company? Do I get a DBA?

Camera or Nikon would be nice, I love the Canon sx30IS, but is there anything with better quality? I would love it to take nice pictures and good non-shaky video. Any suggestions?

What editing system should I try?
I don't know the exact name of my camera, but it's a Nikon and it's high def and the video I record on it has to "be prepared" in windows movie maker so that it's playable (i guess because movie maker isn't made for high def). The problem is that the preparing takes FOREVER. I've tried to edit videos on ViewNX2, the editing software that came with my camera, but the video story board only allows for four video clips: c so what should I do? What's a good, easy to use system I can buy that would fit my needs?

Good Digital (point & shoot) camera for macro photography?
I was looking for a good digital camera for macro photography less than $400. If anybody has a good one they use and would like to recommend to me feel free. Also, the camera would have to be fairly high resolution and preferably by a good company like Canon, Nikon, etc.

I'm thinking of buying a camera on a budget of £100-200 and i want it to be a known brand, sony, nikon, panasonic, canon ect. And i want it to be one of the proffesional looking ones if you know what i'm mean? Not like the ones you can store in your pocket and just take a picture with one hand, but the fairly decent sized camera's that're held in two hands and black, i mainly want a camera for taking pictures of life and memories.
