Good Digital (point & shoot) camera for macro photography?

I was looking for a good digital camera for macro photography less than $400. If anybody has a good one they use and would like to recommend to me feel free. Also, the camera would have to be fairly high resolution and preferably by a good company like Canon, Nikon, etc.

Try a used Canon G10, 11 or 12. A new one is just slightly more than you want to spend. You can full control those cameras and they are good enough for professional use believe it or not.
