Over priced. The Nikon J1 and V1 are both very expensive and they honestly are not that great. I'm a professional photographer and I have shot with both, they are very over priced and simply do not match the quality of Panasonic, Canon and Sony cameras in that price range. I would recommend you buy a Canon G12 or a similar camera by a different manufacturer, Nikon has always been over priced.
