My mac isn't recognising my nikon camera?
When i plug the usb in, nothing happens on the mac.
What do i click on?
You might have to go to the nikion site and down load a driver for your mac
Something is wrong with your motherboard.
Open Finder and look for the camera.
Actually you need to forget connecting cameras to a computer. You need to use a card reader to copy the image files from your memory card.
If you're just trying to get the pictures from your camera, use a card reader. Plug the card reader into your USB port, and insert the SD card on the card reader. It will pop up right on your desktop, and you will be able to see everything on your camera. Hope this helps.
It doesn't see them without additional software. You can get a card reader too which is the way to go in my opinion. You can also import into iPhoto but I personally hate that program.
Go to iPhoto and look under file -> import to library and when the finder pops up you should see a volume under devices that is your camera. If you can't find the camera in your finder then there's probably something wrong with the USB or the port. Put it in a different port and if that doesn't work go get a card reader and try that.
