Why would I choose Nikon 17-35mm over the Nikon 16-35mm, or vice-versa?
The Nikon 17-35mm is obviously more pricey than the 16-35mm. However, with the new 16-35, you get a dust and weather resistant lens that is capable of braving the rigid landscape works. Weight is also a factor since the 16-35mm won't strain your shoulders unlike the hernia-inducing 17-35mm. Based on other reviews, the 16-35mm is an amazing ultra-wide lens almost if not at par with the Nikon 14-24mm when it comes to sharpness. At this point, I will be needing your honest to goodness answers since I plan to take any of these lenses for travel, landscape, and all-around, go-to lens? I'm also considering the Nikon 24-70mm, though.
Added (1). Is it just the maximum aperture of f/2.8 vs.f/4?
Scope recommendation for a Marlin X7VH?
Today, I bought a new Marlin model X7VH in.22-250 Remington, and am now looking for a scope to mount on it.
I want to keep it around $250-$300, but I'm willing go a bit higher if need be. I would like to know what size/magnification be best suited. I will be varmint and predator hunting with this rifle. I had Nikon and Leupold in mind, but would like to hear all suggestions.

I have a 6mp nikon DSLR… The resolution from the camera is 3008x2000… I always shoot in raw and process in lightroom then export as jpeg… Can i resize it in raw to 3872 x 2592? Maybe apply some noise reduction after?

Is starting a camera store a good business idea?
I was thinking about starting a camera store in my town. There's no other camera store within reasonable driving distance here. The town is about 20k people and there's a university here with a photography degree program, plus several local photography businesses and lots of middle class soccer moms.
I want to deal with mostly the hobbyist, student and pro markets. I don't want to carry any point and shoots except for maybe a few bridge cameras and waterproof cameras. Most of the other point and shoots can be had from WalMart and I don't want to compete with WalMart. I want to carry a full range of interchangeable lens cameras and DSLRs plus lenses, accessories, studio accessories, etc. Right now if you want these things in our town you have to order online. I think being able to pop into a store and get them right away would be a draw. I don't plan on selling medium format.
Some things I was wondering about was if I should hire a repair person and offer repairs and how do you become a licensed deal of Canon, Nikon, Sony, Pentax, Panasonic and Olympus. I see most stores display they are a "licensed retailer". Does that cost money and how much? Another thing is should I stick with only digital or sell film too? What about these lomography cameras and polaroids? Could that market be profitable?
What should i do if seller on ebay didn't send my Package?
Ok here's what happened, i won an auction Nikon Camera with 55-200mm lens, manuals, bag, usb and tripod. Seller sent me a message telling me that he only sent the body camera via UPS, but forgot to sent the rest, and he will send it next week via USPS.
So what should i do?
Should i wait for the next Package, it's so suspicious, how could you forget the lens! And plus, he said he will send it next week.
Should i file a report?
Am i still able to file a report after waiting for lets say 2-3 weeks?
Or should i just wait?
I'm worried that i'm not able to file a report on ebay after weeks like what happened before i bought a ring, and it took a month and the one that i won which is the ring is not listed there anymore because it's been awhile and i havnt leave a feedback to him. But luckily i got the ring after a month but i wasn't able to leave him a feedback or report because its not listed there anymore.
