Zoom camera lenses for birding and nature?
I want to buy a zoom lens for birds etc… However money is tight, so can only afford lower end lens. I would like expert opinions, plus people have used both and give me your thoughts. I'm tossing up between a ( Sigma 120-400mm f/4.5-5.6 APO DG OS HSM for Nikon + 1.4x Tele Converter EX) or the (Sigma 150-500mm F5-6.3 APO DG OS HSM f/5-6.3). Let me know your thoughts.
What actress played the role of Lisa Blair the movie Hackers?
Lisa Blair is the girl in the red dress dancing at Kate'/Acid Burn's party. Lord Nikon remembered here name and address because of his photographic memory.
Added (1). IMDB did not have this character listed on the full cast and crew.
All the pictures I take on Nikon 1 are blurry?
This is my first "expensive" camera and every picture I take is blurry. Is it me or the camera. I tried taking pictures of my dogs playing and every single one was incredibly blurry.
I can only get one for my birthday next month. I have to put in money for it, too. I have a job so that's not a problem, but I'm not sure which to get.
My friend has a MacBook and I enjoy messing with it, but I'm not sure if MacBooks are really worth the price… I was looking at a 13-inch MacBook Air and it's $1200! That just seems like a lot of money to me. I'm going off to college in about a year, so it'd definitely be convenient for writing essays and researching my senior year and then into college.
The DSLR camera I'm looking at is $725 (with a 32gb memory card included). It is a Nikon. I really enjoy photography, and only have a 5-year-old Fujifilm point-and-shoot. I feel as though the camera would be a great investment although maybe not so much as the MacBook. I would have to put in less money for the camera.
What is your opinion? Should I put money in for the camera, or for the MacBook?
What to talk to a councillor about?
So I got a Councillor now; (i asked for one). And I wasn't sure whether I should because every time I felt like I wanted one I didn't know why I needed one, and everytime I didn't want one I felt I needed one.
I had a mentor previously and I suppose I felt sort of lost without that person who I could tell anything and would help me with any problems.
I dunno if any of these things are serious enough for me to need a councilor for and if I can talk to them about it:
1. I have a fear of being left by friends because of a friend I used to have, It makes me paranoid.
2.Im also funny about talking to new people - i find some people intimidating and others seem nice.
3. There are some memories I want to talk about which really upset me,
4. I get upset when i watch adverts for products (in particular the nikon cameras) and some moments in movies - but I don't have a clue why.
5. I don't like alot of people - some people I used to like I don't like.
6. I'm terrified of people changing also.
7. I only really feel confident with alot of my decisions if my friend agrees with them.
8. I guess I usually feel sorta hopeless when I think about my future too.
9. I'm alot happier then I used to be; but I sorta know that I could become quite depressed easily: I mean when my best friend goes on holiday for a week I suddenly dunno what to do, I feel pointless.
10. I scratch my arms too - not sure why, I think its a habit.
11. I'm very anti-scoial, don't like talking to lots of people, I don't feel comfortable in large groups.
I've been picky here ^
But if you just say which numbers don't seem stupid to talk to a councillor about that'd be helpful.
Will lenses on my Minolta maxxim 430 si rz camera fit onto a Nikon FM?
Will lenses on my Minolta maxxim 430 si rz camera fit onto a Nikon FM?
When I use the SB-600 it automatically zooms to the current focal length on my lenses. When I use a full frame lens on a dx body for example at 50mm the flash goes to 50mm but wouldn't that be 50mm on FX and it would be more correct if it were set to 70mm? I think the Sb-600 automatically knows if it's mounted on a fx or dx body.
Should i choose Nikon or canon?

Is there some way I can use a Nikon G lens on a older film camera?
Is there some sort of adapter? I have a DSLR right now but I would love to have a film camera too. I don't want to but two sets of lenses, one for film and one for digital. Is there some sort of adapter I could buy in order to use a Nikon G lens on a Nikon film camera?
