Thinking of getting a new camera?
I want a new digital camera, but i'm not sure where to start. I want something with really good picture quality and basic features. Face recognition, focus, anti- red eye, etc. Would be nice. I'd like it to be under $300 unless it's really worth it, but i'm not looking for a camera that i'll use forever. If it works underwater that's be nice, but not if it increases the price much. Any suggestions on where to start? I'm thinking maybe a nikon, canon, or kodak? I'd also like if it recorded.
Lenses for Four Third Cameras - Compatible?
I recently acquired an Olympus PEN E-PL1 from my other half for my birthday.
Had it for a little while, and the lense it came with suffered dust damage after we were hit with a massive dust storm while out shooting. It is currently being repaired. However, I have a mountain trip coming up in 3 weeks, so I'm frantically trying to find an alternative lense to bring with me.
Currently looking at Wide Aperture lense with possible Macro capabilities. I really adore the Zuiko 50mm Macro f2.0. However, I realize it's not compatible with my Micro body kit. I would need an adaptor.
My question is:
Are all Four Third lenses compatible with the correct adaptor? Or are they all set up slightly different for their Auto-Focus requirements?
Meaning: Can I widen my search for possible lenses to use with this? As it is, there's only one I really like from the Zuiko (Olympus) line. It would help if I could look at other Four Third brands, such as Nikon.
So my question is:
I have a Micro camera and I'm looking for a Four Thirds lense. I realize I need an Adaptor to do this if the lense is not a Micro lense.Am I limited to just one brand, or are all camera lenses and bodies compatible with the right adaptor?
I own an Olympus and want to explore Nikon lenses. But, I have no idea if that even works, haha.
What is a great camera to get for a beginning photographer?
I'm in high school and i love taking pictures of nature and hanging out with friends and family and i'm thinking in going into the photography field later on. But unfortunatly my samsung camera from over 3 years ago broke. Any suggestions on getting a camera with great quality and a great price? Now i'm looking towards a Nikon or Canon and none of those wimpy digital cameras that break easily and are smaller than your hand.
Canon XTi/350D - What other cameras are in its class?
I'm aware that it is a older camera but I was looking for something simple, cheap, and easy to use for my father, whom would like to start photography as a hobby and venture away from the P&S world.
Before sealing the deal on the Canon, are there any other cameras from other makers that are (well, were… ) in its class when it was a current model and have similar specs and features?
Considering looking at Pentax, Nikon, Sony, etc…
Is this grammatically correct? - 1
"Good luck on carrying your lenses every six month to the Nikon service."
Need to find perfect ac adapter?
I just recently bought a Nikon L810 digital camera. I'm new with cameras and i need an ac adapter. Where is a good place to get an ac adapter and also will it be like a charger for the camera? I have a feeling it is. I just need to get those questions answered.
Are there any bridge cameras that have a plug in charger?
I'v been looking at bridge cameras for a while and i've decided i want one for my birthday which is in 1 month. I had my eye on one (Nikon Coolpox L310), however, i have only just realised that you have to use AA batteries. I would prefer one where you plug it into the wall or charges by usb, rather than continuously buying batteries (or regular rechargable batteries). Anyone got any suggestions?
I have a speedlight SB28 DX on a D 50 camera… Problem is that it'll only fire on A or M or 3 little lightning strokes… Everytime I put it on TTL my camera won't fire… On the camera the ISO is on Auto so difficult to set.
On the flash I have to SET 400 ASA to get a reasonably exposed photo… Read all the blurb on the the Speed light… Gettin' complicated… Which setting do I use so that it all goes smoothly and I don't have my head full of figures eveytime I shoot a Photo A or M or TTL ( with something i missed?)
Would it be profitable to make a living from home business of small-time photography? - 1
I'm good at photography, but that's limited to me taking pics with my smartphone or little Nikon. I get compliments on some of my shots and some say i should do more with my talent. Although in the way of gainful endeavours, I wouldnt know where to start?
My only idea would be framing or canvassing my work and selling out of home. Any tips?
What are some camera lenses for a Nikon N50?
I have no camera experience whatsoever so please make it as simple as possible. Also not looking for top of the line either, simple point and shoot film camera would be nice. And cheap if that's possible: D
