Which adapter does my Nikon need so I can use my fisheye lens?
I recently bought a Nikon Fisheye Converter FC-E9 0.2x lens to test out. It came with a UR-E10 step-down ring lens adapter but it does not fit onto my current lens (AF-S DX Nikkor, 18-55mm). I'm still getting used to all this newer gear, so I have no clue what adapter I need to use. Does anyone know which one I need or where I can look it up? I've tried to google, but I'm pretty confused lol
That combination was designed to work with certain Nikon compact cameras, so I don't know if it can be made to be compatible.
According to this site

the FC-E9 has a 46mm thread size.
I know that the Nikon kit lens uses a 52mm thread size. A 52 to 46mm step down ring MIGHT work.
