For first time Dslr buyer is the Nikon D7000 too advanced?

I'm looking to get into Dslr photography and go to school. I do not know which camera would suit me better. I really like the Nikon D7000 but i also like the D3100. Now is the d7000 too much for me to handle right away? Its features seem to be much better but at twice the price.

What camera should I bring to Disney World?

So I have a bit of a dilemma. I have a really nice camera, a nikon d3000, and a not so amazing… But decent camera ( a little 100 dollar camera… But it has 10 mega pixels and a 3x optical zoom)

Should I bring the nikon to our family trip to disney? My dad says it could get stolen or lost, but we never ever go on vacation and I think its important we take awesome pictures… But I just don't know.

I'm thinking of taking both and only taking my nice camera around if we diecide have special planned photos. What do you think?

Bulb mode on Nikon D90 and it's accessories?

Hi
I'm a newbie to both photography and this Forum!
I wanted some help with the bulb mode on my nikon d90
last night i tried to take a long exposure shot from sky, but i wouldn't exceed more than 30 seconds. For over 30 second shots, i had to keep my finger on shutter button and THAT WAS EXHAUSTING!
is there any way that i can keep the shutter held for more than 30 seconds without any remote or my finger being involved?

p.s.: can i use Nikon ML-L3 remote or Amazon wireless remote in these situations? Or only MC-DC2 remote can hold the shutter?

p.s. 2: sorry for my bad english!

What SLR is better for shooting videos- a Canon Rebel T3i / Rebel T3 or a Nikon D7000?

My budget is $1200
I have been doing some research. I will be using this camera mostly for taking shots for music videos. In my previous question, many respondents recommended the D7000. However, upon further research I found many people complaining about the autofocus feature in it. I really can't have that while shooting videos. It would be extremely annoying.
Many recommended the Canon 7D but its too costly for me.
Just what cameras have good video quality and also good picture taking quality? It doesn't have to be as good as the D7000 but if its close enough, it will be fine.

Added (1). @KB- So if I turn the AF off in the D7000, would the video quality be on par with the Cannon 7D or the 60D? Or am I completely off the tangent here?

How to save up for a Macbook Pro/Air?

Not quite sure if I want the Pro or Air, but I know I want one of them. I might be going on 3 week trip to Washington this summer, and I'm thinking about moving away for schools (AKA, boarding school. Not freshman year, sophmore). I'm only thirteen if you couldn't tell. So far, I have $40. Yeah, I'm So close to being completely saved up. Anyway, what can I do to save up money? I make bracelets and I would sell them at school, but I can get in a LOT of trouble if I sell them at school. What can I do?
{I get $10 for chores, and $10 for helping my mom since she's out of the hospital. That's $20 a week. So I get $80 a month. It will take 50 weeks until I have enough money if I save up at this rate, but I'm also saving up for a Nikon D3100!}

Added (1). I just got a new desktop for Christmas, and I might sell it on eBay. (But at the same time, I might keep it… Not sure yet.) I have ample books I need to sell on eBay (or to friends). Any other suggestions? I already do chores, make bracelets (might sell them on Etsy), sell on eBay, help my dad occasionally with his job, and I'm only 13. Can't get a legal job.
