I need a Nikon 70-200 f2.8 lens and an 85m f1.4 but there more costly than the Sigma?
I need a Nikon 70-200 f2.8 lens and a 85m f1.4 but they are far more costly than the Sigma equivalent, the thing is I have a Nikon D7000 and not sure weather by using an alternative that it would damage the Camera, the other thing & I think it is the main reason, if I buy the cheaper Sigma model am I going to regret it, is there that much a difference between Nikon Lenses and the much cheaper Sigma lenes! I can't really afford the Nikon lenses but I don't want to waste money on a Sigma if there's a big deference in performance and quality. The Lens are for very fast ice skating sport and portrait in doors and out am I looking at the right lenses

How to take sunset pictures with a dslr?
I have a Nikon D3100. I want to take pictures of the beautiful sunset, but I can never seem to get the setting right. What settings do I need to set my camera to to get the picture?

Which entry level DSLR is better?
I've done some research and it seems the most popular are the canon rebel XS, sony alpha A200, or the nikon D3000. What's best for a beginner who wants to take mainly portraits and glamour? My budget's 600.

What do you think of it? I want to get one for myself. Do you think it would be the right camera for a 16 year old? I have so many questions… Is it worth purchasing or is there another better one? I like the price range, it's within budget.

Recommend a flash for event photography (Nikon D3100)?
I have my first wedding to shoot in a month or so, and I'm looking to buy a better flash to attach to my Nikon D3100 for better photos at the dimly lit reception (we all know the nasty pop-up flash simply won't do). I'm no professional and don't know much about flash, and while I learn very quickly, a simpler flash (with automatic settings) would be better for me. It would have to have bounce flash capabilities, and preferably be somewhere under $200. Any other photographers out there have a recommendation for me? Remember, I'm an amateur on a very limited budget. Thanks in advance.
Added (1). It's important that the flash isn't very expensive. I understand I can't always get great equipment for cheap, but money is a huge issue here, so something under $200 is highly preferable.
Added (2). The reviews for the Nikon SB-400 Speedlight Unit seem to be pretty good. Based on the details I've already given, would this be a wise choice as a STARTER flash? I can't afford a flash that I will grow into, so I'm going to have to deal with something cheaper for now. So would this flash be good for shooting the reception?

I'm looking into purchasing a D3100, but it looks like buying new is going to be too expensive for me. So I was hoping that I could find a rerfurbished or a reliable used one in the $400 range if possible. Where is the best place for me to find that camera at that price? It would be awesome if you could provide links in your answer where you've found one at that price, because I've found them only in the $500 range.

Hi, I want to buy the Nikon D90 and don't know what lens's to get. I shoot pretty much everything, landscape, dogs, insects, flowers, fields, water, sunsets, sky, sun, portraits. So what would be the best lens's for the above. Do not want to spend a fortune, i'm only 17.

Has anyone bought from cametacamera.com?
I'm thinking about buying a refurbished Nikon D90 and a refurbished 18-105mm lens to go with it. I have read good and bad reviews about them. They have very good pricing and free shipping so it seems like a good deal. Are they reliable to buy from, or is it too good to be true?
