How to put my new lens on my nikon D3100?
I have a Nikon 50mm f/1.8D AF Nikkor lens and a Nikon D3100
I match up the two white dots then i twist it to the left and it stops but the camera says that there's no lens attached.
i don't want to break it so i really need advice on how to put the lens on
Nikon d5100 or d3100? I'm a beginner btw

I finally got a Nikon D5000 coming from the United States.
I live in a 3rd world country so, buying Sony SD cards are expensive.
Which is more convenient?
One 8GB SD card?
Two 2GB SD cards? (First SanDisk and Second Sony)
or
One 4GB SD card and one 2GB SD? (Both generic)
With my old camera I take at least 200 pictures, but keep only 30-100
I shoot in highest quality setting and use RAW.

How to shoot fashion with inbuilt flash?
I'm 15 years old and its been 1 year since i started photography. I want to be a fashion photography but i'm not getting good shots in fashion photography. I have a nikon D5000 and i use - 50mm 1.8 f for fashion photography. As i use inbuilt flash i don't get good pictures. Is there any way how i can get good pictures using inbuilt flash. Pictures which i have taken with the flash in my camera have shadows, harsh light and they look sort of irritating. Is there any way how i can get professional fashion shots with the equipment which i use?
Taking advantage of a nikon d5100?
I just got my first dslr camera (nikon d5100) but since I'm new to all this, I think I'm not getting as much advantage from it as I could. I'm not in photography major obviously but I'm having a lot of fun with it. Do you guys know any good website where I can read some good tips, or watch tutorials, any blogger that has to do with this camera… Anything would help me a lot!
What lens will fit a nikon d90?
I'm looking for a lens with the largest aperture possible (1.4) to shoot in low light (concerts, night photography). I also want it to be able to zoom. I have never bought another lens before so I have no idea what I'm looking for. Any help much appreciated. Oh and don't worry about the price because at the moment I'm just looking at my options and then fromt here I will decide how much I want to spend… But not over $800:/
Why won't my camera just take the picture?
I have a nikon D3100. I was out trying to catch a picture of lightning, during a heavy thunderstorm. My camera was too slow to catch it. I don't want it to take 10 seconds to focus, I just want it to take the picture. If it's not focused, too bad. JUST TAKE THE FREAKING PICTURE.
