Lens for Nikon D3100? - 1

I really want a good lens for portraits for my Nikon D3100 and I really want a shallow depth of field, so I was thinking either a:

Nikkor 50mm f/1.2
Nikkor 35mm f/1.4
Nikkor 50mm f/1.8

Or should I get a macro lens? I really want crisp photos and the current lens, a Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5, is not sharp enough.

Any good ideas?

Added (1). Really? So what about a Sigma 70-300 mm. F4-5.6 macro?

My 8mm fisheye lens won't work on my camera?

I have a Nikon D3100 and my dad bought me an 8mm fisheye lens. When I put it on the camera wouldnt let me shoot with it because it couldnt detect the lense. But when I put it on manual it worked but it looked terrible. I would like to take pictures with other settings other than manual.

Remote for my Nikon d3100?

Can I only use the remote with the wires? I went to a store to buy a remote for my Nikon d3100 and they told me I can't use the wireless remote because it gave no signal to my Nikon d3100? I don't really like the remotes with the wires but they said it was the only remote I could use.

and like my d3100 is fairly new and updated like it only came out a year ago.so? Is this true!
can I not use the wireless remote?

Nikon d90 3rd party battery grip

Okay so I watned to buy a 3rd party battery grip off ebay. It was like 35$. My dad didn't let me buy it because he said that this is a 3rd party battery grip and it won't send the appropirate amount of energy from the battery to the camera. And that over time it will screw up the camera system and that nikon won't give me warranty coverage over it because the problem was from a 3rd party user. If nikon figures this out, will they actualy not give me the warranty coverage?

Has anyone used digitalrev.com?

Hi I'm looking for the best price on a Nikon D3100 and came across the site digitalrev.com it all looks legit but when I called them with a query there was a dodgy message very distorted music then a bloke answered and there was no background noise which you always get from a contact centre! I might be just be paranoid after nearly loosing £370 to scam site dilones.com so beware of them
