I want a digital SLR camera but stuck between the Canon T3 or Nikon D3100. I've never had a camera of either brand, so I'm not sure which on else better. The Nikon is a bit more expensive but supposed to be a little better, but I have no clue! Any help?
How to setup liveview on a Nikon D1500?
My mom just receieved a Nikon D5100 for Christmas with Liveview. However, when she tries to use it, it says "Unable to start Liveview, please let camera cool down". What does that mean, and how does she use her Liveview?
How to put Nikon D5100 in 30 fps movie and full time auto FOCUS in movies?
I can't see the option for 30 fps only 24 and 25! And i don't know where the full time auto focus in movie mode is. In the movie settings you can only change microphone and resolution and frames (24 or 25) any ideas? The movie mode only focuses when i half press shutter on new point.
Added (1). Bad idea or not i would still like to know how to do it. I'm reading the manual.
Tamron vs Nikon - image quality?
If anyone has any experience with various lenses of Nikon and Tamron, is Tamron even in the same level in regards to picture quality and sharpness? I have my eye on the Tamron AF 18-270mm f/3.5-6.3 Di II VC PZD LD. Does anyone have this and have any opinions?

Why my videos from my camera play slow motion once i import?
I have videos from my nikon d5100 and i import them onto my computer, once i play the clip using windows media player the audio is fine but the video runs slow motion. To import, i use usb cable. I run on windows 7.

What I was wondering is that all this time i've been taking pictures with the option fine, but then i noticed i have another option for even better pictures, but it is 17mb per picture.
