Why is my Nikon D80 shooting so slow?
I click the button to shoot it makes a sound but the picture isn't taken until 6 seconds later until the second sound. What's wrong?
Best budget nikon lenses for landscape photography?
I got a Nikon d3100 for Christmas and it came with the standard 18-55mm kit lens. This is a good multi-purpose lens, but I'm more of a landscape photographer. What is a good telephoto lens for this style of photography? I'm on a tight budget here so I can't break the bank!
Should I upgrade my Nikon D3000 to a Nikon D5100?
I currently own the Nikon D3000. I'm considering upgrading to a Nikon D5100. The D5100 has additional features I would like plus I'm looking for a video camera too (not for anything big just video taping my child). What does everyone think about the difference of these two cameras? Is worth the upgrade?
Might I add I have someone that is willing to purchase my old camera.
I use Nikon D80. Lens: 18-135mm so what is the best aperture for potrait? Kthanks
Nikon d3100 only has two autofocus choices why?
I just received my nikon d3100 and i'm trying to change my auto focus to AF-C but when i goto the menu it only shows two option AF-A and MA

would fit the Nikon d3100 as i've seen one in the local paper and was thinking if this fits and I get it cheap then I would be able to buy just the d3100 body cheers
I currently have a nikon d3100 with the kit 18-55mm and a 28mm. I find myself wanting to take lots of macros and would really like an 85mm micro but don't know if its worth it on my d3100. Should I get the new lens or trade the body and cash for a new body?
Best alternative to Nikon D3100?
I was going to buy the Nikon D3100, except everywhere around here has sold out (both for collection in store and home delivery! ) They were all around £450.
I'm now stuck. I don't want to pay a huge amount more than that, are there any good alternatives? Or should I wait until they come back in stock? (I don't know when that would be though, and I was wanting to have it by new year)
The factor that attracted me to the D3100 was the ability to shoot 1080p movies as well as stills.
