I need an advice regarding which camera to buy? Canon 450D or Nikon D3100?
I need to know this in an photographic edge. I'll not be using video snapping at all. I need a good camera with good functionalities for still photography.
But just a good capable camera so I can explore and understand the whole camera and all the other advanced modes + combing creativity for better photographing.
One more question, which one of these two cameras has advanced features in the photography aspect? Which one of those two cameras has to offer more? Or which is the more advanced level camera(even though both are entry level cameras)?
thanks
Added (1). Ps: I have been practising and taking good photos with both compact digital camera, and point & shoot almost for more than 2 years. I'm just a hobbyist and no need to become a professional. I just want to get the the camera which offers the most for my budget as I'm a student.

How to afford Nikkor 70-200mm 2.8 VR II?
I'm really disappointed of it's price. I really want to buy one but I don't know where to start. I only have D40 + 18-55mm kit lens and I don't know what to do with this. Can anyone share tips on how to afford the lens? I only have $300 for now and living here in Philippines as a college student is so hard to reach $2000. Help?
Added (1). Please don't answer me to buy other lenses because all I want is 70-200mm 2.8 VR II. Instead, tell me how to earn to afford that.
Added (2). If you ask where I usually earn money, it's my graphics designing job https://www.starworkslogo.com/

I've narrowed my research down to 5 camera's, and want people's opinion on which would/is be better, however I would consider another model if it better suits my preferences. The main features I want is file support of RAW + JPEG for images, and a good continuous shooting speed for things that would be easy to catch as they happen, i.e a lightning storm, motor sports, etc.
The camera's are -
Sony SLT A33
Sony A390L
Canon 1100D
Nikon D5100
Nikon D3100

Advice on buying a Dslr camera?
I'm planing to buy a dslr camera. This is going to be my first dslr camera. First of all, I'm not into making videos at all. I've been shooting photos with a compact digital camera, and now I need better a equipment. I'm into landscape, travel, Macro, little bit of action, potraits and normal other photography.
I'm a hobbyst, I need to improve my photographing skills, specially to take photos creatively. You know what I mean. I don't want to become a total slave auto focus. Anyway, I'm student and I have a budget problem too, My budget is around 500$. I've been thinking of Nikon D3100 (since lots of people recommend it), I have been interested in Canon rebet Xsi 450D which seems to be a good camera. Then I have found some good bargains for Used cameras Nikon d5000 and canon 500D.
So I need this camera in an photographic edge. To shoot artistic photographs. So now I'm confused. Cameras complexity doesn't matter. I easily get going with any tech stuff just within few mins.
btw, I'm planing to buy this camera for 1 or 2 years and then I'll upgrade to a better camera, now I need to improve and sharpen my skills, while taking good photos.
I really appreciate your advice.
