I'm planning to buy HOYA and x400 Filter?
I'm confused on the size of the filter. I have Nikon D5100 and the lens i have are 18-55mm and 55-300mm. So what size i have get 55mm, 77, 58, 67 or 62mm someone please explain and suggest me the size.
I'm in search for a D90 camera but few people suggest that it has been discontinued all over the world! Where all it has been discontinued? Please let me know.

I'm a beginner DSLR user (Nikon d3100) and I'm preparing to buy some lenses in addition to the 18-55mm. I've been researching lenses, and my head is now spinning. Can anyone explain in simple terms the difference between the following two Tamron zoom lenses? Why is one $200 and the other is $450 when they are both 70-300mm?

What are the best settings to make a movie with a Nikon d5100?
I'm borrowing my friends camera and he forgot to give me the manual. I've been tinkering with it but still need a lot of help.
Added (1). Actually I'm not going as far to make a full length movie yet. It's a video for Youtube. I just want it to look the least ameturish as possible. I know its a digital camera so it will inevitably be that way at least a little but I want to try. When I uploaded some of the video to photobucket it didn't look that great. Kind of grainy and almost like some obsolete camera.

Silhouette effect on digital camera? What kind?
What kind of digital cameras have the Silhouette effect on it? I have the nikon d5100 but i'm wanting to sell it for money that i really need. The thing is i still want a camera with the Silhouette effect on it and i don't know what other camera has the same effect?
Will this lens work on my Nikon DSLR?
I own a Nikon D5000 and I saw a GN-Nikkor 45mm f/2.8 for sale and I'm looking to buy it. The only dilemma I have is if it will work on my DSLR. It is a 1969 non-AI lens. The picture shows that it has an aperture coupling prong on it. But it has also a spare AI ring on it, which confuses me.
Is the Sony a65 a good camera choice?

Shooting Video with Nikon D5000 Shot length
I got the Nikon D5000 to do short films etc on a low budget, as it was quite a cheap decent camera, the one thing that I'm now worrying over is the 5 minute limit when recording 720p, now i know on lower settings it has a 20 minute limit, but i want to shoot 720p. The main issue are shot lengths, such as when filming a relatively long dialogue scene from one angle, what if the limit suddenly cuts the recording? Anyone have any suggestions how to overcome this?
Added (1). I'm happy shooting in lower resolutions, but if there's a way to help overcome the limit it would be helpful.

I have a nikon d5100 in good condition i have used it a few times but not many its been mainly in my closet for the year. How much should I sell it for? I need the money to pay off my credit card thats another reason why i'm selling it.
