Camera recommendation?
I need an advice regarding which camera to buy? Canon 450D or Nikon D3100?
I need to know this in an photographic edge. I'll not be using video snapping at all. I need a good camera with good functionalities for still photography.
But just a good capable camera so I can explore and understand the whole camera and all the other advanced modes + combing creativity for better photographing.
One more question, which one of these two cameras has advanced features in the photography aspect? Which one of those two cameras has to offer more? Or which is the more advanced level camera(even though both are entry level cameras)?
thanks
Added (1). Ps: I have been practising and taking good photos with both compact digital camera, and point & shoot almost for more than 2 years. I'm just a hobbyist and no need to become a professional. I just want to get the the camera which offers the most for my budget as I'm a student.
Sounds like you're going to buy more camera than you're ready for. Start with a point and shoot then move up as your skills and knowledge improve. I see lots of folks run out and spend big bucks on cameras thinking they are going to be the next big name in photography. They lose interest and the expensive camera sits in its bag. Take my advice and start out easy then work your way up.
Any will do. All dSLR's are basically the same. Canon is more popular while Nikon being more technical is more preferred by pros. Sony if you want to consider is stylish while Pentax is excellent for those who want to use older lenses. Just be warned. The cheapest cameras from Canon and Nikon, their so-called entry-level models, are crippled in one way or another requiring more skill on the part of the user to make good use of.
