How to afford Nikkor 70-200mm 2.8 VR II?

I'm really disappointed of it's price. I really want to buy one but I don't know where to start. I only have D40 + 18-55mm kit lens and I don't know what to do with this. Can anyone share tips on how to afford the lens? I only have $300 for now and living here in Philippines as a college student is so hard to reach $2000. Help?
Added (1). Please don't answer me to buy other lenses because all I want is 70-200mm 2.8 VR II. Instead, tell me how to earn to afford that.
Added (2). If you ask where I usually earn money, it's my graphics designing job https://www.starworkslogo.com/

Get the sigma version for 1600$ instead of 2400$.
Other than that, save your money.

I have no shortage of things I want but can't afford. All you can do in life if keep trying. Put your education always as your first priority. There will always be lenses. With a good education, you can get a good paying job and be able to buy many of the things you want that you can't buy now. Just be patient, though I know it can be difficult.
